My story is to long to tell......
by zugzzwan ini am new to this forum but i have for the past several days been reading posts from people that for the first time in 26 years have pasts, memories and feelings like my self.
suffice to say that i too was born and raised in "the truth".
i have at one time or another been, a ms, a vacation pioneer, a regular pioneer, a disfellowship individual, a re-instated individual, publicly reproved, privately reproved and finally for the past 7 years a man who they don't even come on my property cause he's a nut who might shoot you and will at the very least call the police and have you arrested for trespassing individual.. unlike so many others though i find no personal desire to rant or rage against the machine.

Dear Hungry 4 lifes' friend,
I cannot believe what you are going through; it must take so much strength of character and downright bravery to stay in there.I hope that your situation has a soloution that is bearable to you. There was a very good suggestion here to subtly spread the info about your husbands' behaviour;but perhaps not until you're out of the house? If word did get around would the elders be supportive? If not, then staying will make you even more alienated, don'tyou think? I wish you love and lots of luck in getting your life good again;please don't put yourself in harms way for too much longer, ive been there; it'll get worse over time ,and as i'm sure you know; attempts to rationalise will only escalate the violence. X THE CONG MAY NOT BELIEVE YOU, BUT THE POLICE WILL. -

And don't forget that sincere-looking;badly bespectacled; crap guitarist; HANK MARVIN!!!
Yep; now you picture him you wonder why you did'nt suspect him before!?!
Apparently he's tried to convert saint Cliff, and distributes literature to unsuspecting countries under ban when he goes abroad;perhaps they think letting him play will shut him up.god, i HATE his guitar twanging! -

Last night's meeting
by RunningMan inmy son had a talk last night, so i had the priviledge of trudging off to another meeting.
the bible section being considered at the present time is isaiah 19-26. much to my surprize, i learned that the society is prefigured in at least two places in these few chapters.
they consider themselves the "watchman" class, as well as the "eliakim" class, with the poor old clergy of christendom relegated to the mere "shebna" class.. this correspondance of the society to virtually everything in the bible is getting sickening already.

Hey, me too! the reactivators want to come and try to plug me back in too; must be a Spring clean in the society-perhaps we'll get chucked out with the rest of the crap in the halls...

today's Kingdom Hall experience
by Cygnus inwent to my grandfather's funeral service at the kingdom hall today.
two or three minutes were spent on grandfather, and the rest on the bible, jehovah, how sin makes our bio cells degenerate, etc.
etc.. fortunately, i'm well past the stage of anger at the witnesses for shoving their religious beliefs down my throat.

so sad for you;funerals are supposed to show respect and offer memories to take back with you, also to hear stuff about the preson you never even knew; fat chance huh? My uncles(non dub) was so lovely, it was so good to hear things about him that i had no idea about.that's the kind of thing that helps...the day my mum died witness 'friend' told me 'you'd better get baptised then, or you'll never see her again' NICE EH?I never did...
